What Are the Types of BMS? — infographic

The Founder's Explanation (Teach Exactly This Way)

"How do you travel? Short distance, a cycle is enough — standalone. A full colony, one bus on a route — networked. Many buses across the city watched from one control room on an app — that is cloud. And where you cannot lay a track, walkie-talkie, wireless. Choose the transport for the journey, not the other way."

Teaching the Concept

Choosing How to Travel A short trip needs only a cycle. A colony is served by one bus on a route. A whole city fleet is watched from one control room. Where no track can be laid, you use radio. A BMS comes in the same range — pick the type that matches the building, not the other way round. The type is a ten-year decision made on day one. Four Common Types ``` STANDALONE one plant / small building, local control NETWORKED many controllers on a site bus, one front-end CLOUD edge gateway to cloud dashboards, multi-site WIRELESS wireless sensors/controllers for retrofits ``` Matching Type to Need ``` Single plant room -> standalone Whole building, one site -> networked Estate / many sites -> cloud Heritage / no cable runs -> wireless ``` Match the BMS type to where the building is going, not just where it is today.
