What Is a Cloud-Based BMS?

The Founder's Explanation (Teach Exactly This Way)
"A shop owner with 40 shops. Earlier he drives to each shop to check. Now, one CCTV app on his phone — all 40 shops on one screen. He sits in one place and sees everything, and only goes where there is a problem. Cloud BMS is that app for buildings — control stays in each site, but you watch all from one screen."Teaching the Concept
Forty Shops on One Screen A shop owner with 40 outlets once drove to each to check on them. With one app on his phone, all 40 appear on a single screen — he watches from one place and visits only where there is a problem. A cloud BMS does exactly this for buildings: control stays local at each site, but the oversight moves to one screen. The control stays at the site; only the watching moves to the cloud. The Data Path ``` site controllers -> EDGE GATEWAY -> (outbound, secure) -> CLOUD -> one dashboard (web / phone) local control keeps running even if the link drops ``` What the Cloud Adds ``` Remote access see and adjust any site from one place Multi-site view compare all sites side by side Analytics spot the outlier wasting energy Publish-by-exception send data only when values change ``` A cloud BMS moves the oversight, not the controls — so one person can watch an entire estate.Related Topics
