Temperature + Humidity (RH) Combined Sensor
Copied to clipboard ✓
One sensor. Two readings. Measures both temperature and relative humidity simultaneously.
Most commonly used sensors in BMS — almost every AHU, every room monitoring application, every cold room uses this combined sensor.
Saves one wiring run and one controller input channel compared to using two separate sensors. Also guarantees both readings are taken at the same location at the same moment — important for accurate psychrometric calculations.
Typical Outputs:
Temperature: 4–20mA or 0–10V (one output)
Humidity: 4–20mA or 0–10V (second output)
Both go to separate AI channels on the controller
Applications:
AHU return air duct → Measures both temp and RH of return air
AHU supply air duct → Confirms conditioning result
Room sensor → Monitors occupied space conditions
Outside air sensor → For economiser and fresh air control
Cold room sensor → Monitors storage conditions
