Switching Off the Empty Room When you leave a room at home, you switch off the light and fan. It costs nothing and saves real money. Building automation does exactly that for a whole building — automatically, in every empty room and closed hour, without anyone having to remember. The cheapest kilowatt-hour is the one never used.
