How Does Building Automation Save Energy? — infographic

The Founder's Explanation (Teach Exactly This Way)

"At home, when we leave a room, we switch off the light and fan. Simple. Now imagine a whole building doing that automatically — every empty room, every closed hour, plant eases off by itself. Nobody has to remember. That is how automation saves energy — it switches off what nobody is using, everywhere, all the time."

Teaching the Concept

Switching Off the Empty Room When you leave a room at home, you switch off the light and fan. It costs nothing and saves real money. Building automation does exactly that for a whole building — automatically, in every empty room and closed hour, without anyone having to remember. The cheapest kilowatt-hour is the one never used. The Four Levers ``` SCHEDULE plant runs only in occupied hours SETBACK relax setpoints overnight / when empty OCCUPANCY sensors cut service in unused zones OPTIMISE start-up timing, sequencing, demand control ``` Where the kWh Come Off ``` BEFORE flat, full-power load all day and night AFTER load follows occupancy; overnight setback empty rooms served at minimum ``` Building automation matches the plant to the need — full only where people are, easing off everywhere else.
