The IO list tells you exactly how many compartments you need. Common Sizes and Layouts ``` 4-channel small add-ons, one plant item 8-channel a typical floor AHU / FCU cluster 16-channel dense panels, many points in one place DEDICATED all AI, or all DO (uniform plant) MIXED AI+AO+DI+DO on one board (varied points) ``` The Sizing Rule ``` 1. Count points by type from the IO list 2. Pick boards that cover the mix with least waste 3. Add ~15% spare channels for future additions 4.
